Thank you for helping us bring Illustrated, Spanish Language Bibles to impoverished children in Indigenous Communities in the Highlands and Amazon areas of Ecuador!!

Overview -

Intentional 2020 had a unique opportunity to purchase cases of Illustrated, Spanish Language bibles for children in the communities they serve. These were purchased at 50% of the normal cost in bulk and will be distributed in December during the Time2Serve & Intentional 2020 trip to 12 communities.

Each $5.00 you can donate covers the cost of one of these bibles and will give children the chance to own their own bible and to learn and read the Gospel on their own or in small community gatherings, not just in church settings or when our missionaries visit!

Please consider buying one or more bibles through your tax-deductible donation. By donating through our link, 100% of your donation will go to Intentional 2020 for bibles and you’ll receive a receipt via e-mail which can be used for tax purposes.

Intentional 2020

Ecuador

Intentional 2020 serves communities in the Highlands of the Andes Mountain Range, the Amazon Jungle and the Ecuadorian Coastline. While their first focus is always in sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, they also focus on the needs of the communities they serve.

Time2Serve has partnered with Intentional 2020 since 2024 and teamed up with Definition Church in 2025. On all of our trips, we look for formal and informal opportunities to do teaching and evangelism with the adults and youth. But regardless of whether you feel equipped to teach, play with kids, swing a hammer, or help cook, know that you’re qualified and that your presence will make a difference.

Please, help us bring the love of Jesus Christ to folks in these remote regions of Ecuador! Far from any grocery store or even a bus stop, these small communities rely on agriculture and raising milks cows and sheep, often pooling milk into community cheese ‘factories’. The jungle communities rely on the diverse resources of the forest and the rivers for food and industry.

The adults have varying levels of understanding of who Jesus is and the importance of having faith in Him. The children are learning - principally through the work of Intentional 2020 and local pastors and lay people, each of whom shepherds 2-3 communities. The mission team will attend church with the Pa Chancho community in our first Sunday in country with the community of Shell on our second Sunday (long trip) and we will use every opportunity to share God’s love, through our work, our words and our prayers!
